How this website handles your information.
Last updated: 9 October 2026
Who we are
City Financial Consultancy Ltd, trading as City Financial Property Services, is responsible for the personal information it handles through this website. Our address is 91 Roman Road, London E2 0QN. Company registration number: 06352554. ICO registration reference: ZA592683.
Information used on this website
You can browse property information without creating an account. Searching and filtering take place in your browser. If you save a property, its listing ID is kept on your device for your shortlist. We also store your cookie preference and the time you made that choice.
The forms ask for information relevant to your request, such as your name, email, optional telephone number, message, property address, preferred viewing time or property-search preferences. Individual property-page enquiry forms save your request in our protected staff CMS. They do not automatically book an appointment. Online forms state when sending is unavailable. Property alert emails are not available yet and do not create a subscription. Please do not enter payment details, identity documents or sensitive personal information.
When you visit a hosted version of the website, the hosting service receives technical request information, such as your IP address, browser information and requested pages. These are separate from information you enter in a form.
Why information is used
Our legitimate interests are to provide a working property website, enable the features you request and maintain the website’s availability and security. Optional Google Maps is enabled only with your consent. You can refuse it and continue to use the website.
This website does not use analytics or advertising trackers, send marketing emails, or make automated decisions about your eligibility to buy or rent a property.
Google Maps and other providers
Contact and property pages offer optional maps provided by Google. They appear automatically after you allow optional Google Maps. Loading it sends connection and device information to Google, which may use cookies and process information outside the UK. See Google’s Privacy Policy for its processing, retention and international-transfer information.
Website hosting services process the technical requests needed to serve a hosted website. Individual property-page enquiries are stored in the City Financial CMS; email-alert subscriptions are not available and other enquiry forms state if sending is unavailable. Links to other websites take you to services with their own privacy policies.
How long information is kept
- Unsent form entries: remain in the current page. Property-page enquiries are stored for up to 12 months from receipt. Your browser may separately remember or restore form entries.
- Shortlist: lasts for the tab’s browser session. You can clear it sooner using Saved properties or the Cookies page.
- Cookie preference: is used for 180 days. An expired record is removed when you next access the website, or while an open page checks its expiry. You can clear website storage through your browser at any time.
The local website server does not keep request logs. Retention of information held by a hosting service or Google depends on the service’s own arrangements; this website does not set their retention periods.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the processing and applicable exemptions, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict its use or receive a portable copy. These rights apply to information we hold; the website currently does not receive your form entries.
You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. To raise an objection or another privacy request, contact us by post or telephone using the details below.
You can withdraw optional Google Maps consent at any time on the Cookies page by choosing “Reject optional cookies” or switching the map option off and saving preferences. This removes a loaded map and prevents it loading again without consent. It does not erase Google cookies already set; these can be managed through your browser. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if the website’s handling of information changes, including before connecting enquiries, alerts or additional optional technologies. See our Cookies page for browser-storage details.
Property enquiries and staff records
Enquiries submitted on individual property pages are securely stored in our staff CMS so authorised staff can respond. We use your name, email, optional phone number, message and property reference for that purpose. We retain property-page enquiries for up to 12 months from receipt, with expired records removed when the enquiry system is next accessed. Staff sign-in, property uploads and changes are recorded to manage access and maintain an audit trail. Website infrastructure, database and file storage are provided through ChatGPT Sites and Cloudflare. Other online enquiry forms display their delivery availability. A request does not confirm an appointment.
We process property enquiries to take steps at your request before a contract, and use legitimate interests for staff access controls, security and business records. Please contact our office for privacy requests or removal of an enquiry.
